Advanced Membrane Technology for Milnor, Lavatec,
Kannegiesser Now in N. America

Greensboro, NC: Laundry equipment parts supplier Talley Machinery Corp., Greensboro, NC (, has been named to represent Maxi-Press Elastomertechnik, GmbH, Germany, as exclusive North American distributor of the manufacturer's line of laundry extractor press membranes. Talley is stocking replacement membranes for Milnor, Lavatec, Kannegiesser, Ellis and Jensen-Senking extractor presses and offers overnight delivery throughout North America. Talley was selected for its commitment to fielding a dedicated team of knowledgeable sales representatives backed by a track record of more than a century of expert service to the laundry industry, according to Tim Zaiser, managing director for Maxi-Press, which is highly regarded for its technological expertise in the development of press membranes and other elastomer products. "Randy (Vansparrentak) and his team at Talley understand how the quality and cost-saving advantages of our membranes can quickly impact the bottom line of any laundry using a press," says Zaiser. "At a time when the laundry industry is struggling, we feel it's especially important to work with companies like Talley that have proven their ability to thrive in any economic conditions."

The Maxi-Press membranes are manufactured from natural rubber with a proprietary process that provides both the durability to withstand high volume laundry operations and the elasticity needed to return to the proper shape after each cycle. The membranes feature a ribbed surface that prevents the cake from sticking inside, a clear, white color that eliminates the potential for marking linens and the ability to resist high pressures and temperatures to 167 degrees F.

The Talley parts packages are currently available on all American Ironer flatwork ironers in commercial laundries and on-site laundries at healthcare, hospitality, institutional, industrial and other facilities,. To further reduce the investment needed for an effective rebuild or upgrade, any unused part may be returned to Talley Machinery for full credit.
